Oracle ERP Specialist

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an Oracle ERP Finance Specialist for an initial 3-6 month contract on a rate of £800/day (Outside IR35). This role will be based in Glasgow. Responsibilities: - Input to design of Corporate Finance solution – technical and process, and support in the resolution of open Gaps, as part of the activity to close out design with specific focus on: i.

Chart of Accounts – understanding how it is used across all entities/services/ALEO’s and identifying opportunities for rationalisation, cleansing and simplification ii. Working with the wider programme workstreams to ensure that the Chart of Accounts supports transactional, budgeting and forecasting processes, and reporting and insight needs iii. Working with Corporate Finance and the Change team, engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to achieve buy-in to changes to the accounting structures iv.

Review of design in other areas of Corporate Finance: Assets, Projects (Capital and revenue), Enterprise Performance Management - Support, where required, on Data Migration (data validation, reconciliation) for Corporate Finance data objects Essential Skills: - Significant experience of delivering technical accounting functions in an Oracle ERP Cloud implementation is essential. - Experience of delivering technical accounting functions in SAP ECC6 to Oracle ERP Cloud transformations would be advantageous. - Experience of delivering technical accounting functions in SAP ECC6 to Oracle ERP Cloud transformations in a similar environment would be significantly advantageous.
