Oracle Developer

We are looking for an Oracle Developer for an 6 Month Day Rate Contract on a hybrid basis in Dublin. Purpose of the role The Oracle Developer is responsible for the design, development, administration, and optimization of Oracle database environments, ensuring high performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

The role provides technical leadership in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, database performance tuning, and deployment management while supporting multiple business-critical projects. Job description - the role Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database schemas, stored procedures, packages, triggers, views, and other database objects. Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical issues.

Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL solutions, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Manage database deployments, version control, release scripts, and routine DBA activities across multiple environments. Key Requirements Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle database environments.

Advanced expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, including packages, triggers, dynamic SQL, bulk processing, ref cursors, and performance optimization. Strong knowledge of database design, data modelling, SQL tuning, and Oracle query optimization techniques. Proven experience managing database security, schemas, roles, privileges, tablespaces, and deployment processes.
