Optical Engineer

Role Overview: Job involves development of new features on optical L0 side. The engineer should have the following criteria : Engineers having good experience on bringing up optical boards like ROADMs, Amplifiers, RAMAN, OTDR at the card and system level. Architects and developers with deep hands-on experience in optical control loops: VOAs, OCMs, ROADM and amplifier control architectures Strong C++ engineers especially those who understand multi-threaded systems design at scale.

Senior engineers (5+ years) with extensive SW design depth Engineers having experience collaborating with firmware and hardware teams and know how to drive firmware specifications collaboratively. Optical firmware developers A real plus: anyone with domain knowledge in Optical Protection and Restoration And increasingly critical: engineers who are already embracing AI-assisted development Cursor AI /Claude Code , AI DLC models, the whole modern toolchain. Engineers having GX software and/or test experience.
