Job Description Job Description Job Summary : We are looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to help manage and maintain a portfolio of high-end short-term rental properties (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.). This is a field-based, fast-paced role that combines property upkeep, guest support, and operational oversight. If you’re someone who takes pride in your work, solves problems quickly, and doesn’t mind getting your hands dirty—this is a great opportunity to grow within the real estate and hospitality industry.
Job Duties: Property Operations & Maintenance Perform routine property inspections across multiple locations Handle minor repairs, touch-ups, and general upkeep (must be handy) Coordinate with vendors and contractors for larger repairs Respond quickly to maintenance issues and emergencies Quality Control Conduct detailed multi-point inspections to ensure each property meets high standards Identify and proactively fix issues before guest arrival Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and overall presentation of each property Guest Support Communicate with guests before, during, and after their stay via smartphone Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally to ensure 5-star experiences General Operations Execute tasks assigned by management related to property and guest needs Assist in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly across all properties Guest Relations: Maintain open communication with guests before, during, and after their stay. Address any issues or concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and positive reviews. Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance personnel/third party technicians to address any repair issues promptly.
This includes routine inspections and responding to emergency maintenance requests. Complete minor cosmetic/simple repairs by yourself. Quality Assurance: Travel weekly to various properties throughout the county and perform multi point checklist on the property and address any repair or upkeep needs.
Ensure properties are kept up to impeccable standards. Other Task Assigned By Manager: Must complete task directly stated by the manager in relation to any property or guest needs. Key Skills and Qualifications: 1.
Customer Service Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with guests and addressing their needs effectively. 2. Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple properties, bookings, simultaneously requires strong organizational and time-management skills. 3. Problem-Solving Skills: Being able to quickly and effectively resolve issues, such as guest complaints or maintenance emergencies, is crucial. 4.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring properties are clean, well-maintained, and accurately listed requires a keen eye for detail. 5. Flexibility: The ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate guest schedules and address issues as they arise. 6. Maintenance Skills: Must carry a basic tool bag and be able to fix and complete simple and cosmetic property repairs as needed.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS 1) Have an extremely flexible schedule. 2) Approximately 40 hours per week/5 days per week, Wednesdays and Saturdays off. Additional days may be required based on needs. 3) Respond to guest messages remotely via smart phone promptly from 9am-9pm. 4) In field work hours typically include 11am-4pm but hours may vary drastically depending on property needs and property vacancy. 5) Respond to maintenance emergencies and routine property upkeep from 9am-9pm as needed. 6) Being able to meet the demands of manager for property/guest needs. 7) Being somewhat “handy” and carry a basic tool bag. 8) Reliable vehicle, smart phone (iPhone preferred). 9) Valid driver license, social security card, legal authorization to work. 10) 1099 independent contractor position.
