Transdev provides a broad range of services for the client’s autonomous driving testing and development efforts. The Operations Manager serves as the Transdev operations liaison working with the client’s and Transdev employees, coordinating shift performance, overseeing compliance, coaching staff, and driving process improvements.

Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation: minimum $99,840 – maximum $110,240 Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks Sick days: 5 days Holidays: 6 days Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short‑term disability and voluntary long‑term disability Key Responsibilities Supervise the daily activity of the Operations Supervisor to ensure efficient shift operation Drive special projects and programs completion assigned by the Senior Operations Manager Attend client meetings to represent the Senior Operations Manager or other functional managers when required Communicate clearly with Transdev management and the client Support the client’s operational leadership in daily dispatch management, mission assignment, leading meetings and stakeholder communication Participate in Lean/Kaizen and other Operational Excellence initiatives Interpret metrics, identify opportunities and implement actions to drive results Ensure compliance with global process standards and lead continuous improvement initiatives Perform vehicle driver safety evaluations, ride checks and driver observation, prescribe retraining and manage the performance‑based pay program Coordinate, monitor and supervise subordinate activities and report operational or personnel problems to management Ensure daily operation processes are conducted as expected (assignments, start‑of‑shift egress, out‑of‑office management, pre‑briefs and debriefs) Respond to service problems including outages, rerouting, accidents and incidents, and support drivers in accident report preparation including post‑accident drug and alcohol testing Interact with and assist passengers as required Investigate and respond to unsafe location/situation reports and recommend corrective actions Develop and schedule program work plans with client staff, oversee daily operations and coordinate activities, and determine priorities Maintain records and perform clerical work related to property operation Maintain confidentiality of all information Perform all other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 2+ years of operations experience leading teams. Preferred: degree in Engineering, Operations or a related field. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of service area and ability to read a map or digital map directions Ability to use a computer to generate reports and schedules Ability to supervise others and make sound business decisions regarding operations Ability to read, understand, and interpret system operating rules, regulations, policies, phases and routes Good written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail Travel up to 20% of the time Must be on call and responsive for 24/7 operations Work flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights and/or holidays; ability to stand, walk, or sit for up to 10 hours during shifts Physical Requirements Long periods of standing, walking, and sitting Use hands to handle, feel, and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Work is mostly indoors in air‑conditioned or well‑ventilated facilities May work in extreme heat, cold, and damp environments with moderate noise Occasional office or cubicle work with a computer Must be able to lift or move up to 45 pounds occasionally Must use good vision, including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment Pre‑Employment Requirements Must be 21 years of age All Transdev employees must complete a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.

Safety‑sensitive positions will also be subject to a physical screening. Transdev maintains a drug‑free workplace and may require participation in a random drug screening program.
