Responsibilities Critical plant leadership role designed to prepare leaders for future Plant Director accountability.
This position will lead multiple departments which may include end to end execution of manufacturing and other core functions dependent on required development such as maintenance, warehouse, and/or quality. The Sr. Ops Manager drives activities to achieve cost targets and improve performance in the areas of true efficiency, safety, quality and supply chain capability while ensuring compliance quality objectives are met.
He or she maintains positive employee relations while driving significant change. Operational Ownership & Performance Own dominant manufacturing operations and performance across multiple departments and value streams. Achieve all plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, cost, delivery, productivity, and engagement.
Own identification and elimination of losses, delivering measurable improvements in cost, inventory, time, and quality. Pursue day-to-day operational issues while delivering short- and long-term performance goals Safety, Quality & Compliance. Drive accountability for plant safety culture, compliance, and results.
Ensure food safety and quality systems are rigorously executed and continuously improved. Maintain compliance with all regulatory, company, and quality requirements Run to Target & Continuous Improvement. Lead execution of the plant Run to Target (RTT) strategy aligned to enterprise objectives.
Drive plant-wide implementation of Run to Target, true efficiency, and capability-building programs. Champion a culture of continuous improvement that meets or exceeds division expectations Cost & Financial Performance. Own cost performance and variance commitments for the plant.
Identify cost gaps, develop action plans, and ensure appropriate resource allocation to meet financial objectives. Drive improvements that deliver sustainable cost, productivity, and efficiency gains. People Leadership & Capability Building Build organizational capability through effective hiring, training, coaching, and employee relations.
Lead and develop front-line hourly and salaried teams to achieve performance and engagement goals. Maintain an effective performance management process, including mid-year and annual goal reviews, Leadership and technical development, Career progression and succession planning. Motivate team members to achieve plan objectives.
Change Leadership & Collaboration Deliver effective change leadership, driving business transformation while minimizing people impact. Evaluate organizational capabilities, skills, and resource alignment; lead work redesign and realignment as needed. Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational challenges.
Provide visible, positive leadership to reinforce culture and expectations across the facility. Compensation and Benefits The expected compensation range for this position is between $93,500 - $156,450. Location, confirmed job‑related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing preferred. Preferably food/beverage experience. Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
TPM implementation experience strongly preferred. You should possess strong skills, knowledge and capability in TPM or lean manufacturing, finance and accounting, project management, leadership, and statistics/logical problem solving. Proven working knowledge of the following business enterprises: HSE/quality regulatory compliance, processing/packaging/warehouse operations, maintenance and engineering, ingredient and package material procurement, production planning & deployment, sales and marketing, research and development, and excellent communication, facilitation and influence skills.
Preferred Experience developing hourly and supervisory staff. Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications. Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Ability to lead a team‑based approach to decision‑making. Proven ability to thrive in a results‑oriented, meaningful environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to encourage and get results through mentoring others.
Proven ability to coach, facilitate, and inspire team building skills. This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States. Must have a valid driver’s license.
