We're seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our production floor and elevate our operational performance.

What You’ll Do Lead and optimize daily CNC machining and Assembly operations in a high-mix, low-volume aerospace environment. Lead daily GEMBA, participate and contribute to weekly production and 360 meetings. Responsible for managing a Team of 50 production staff, including discipline, approve vacation / OT requests, PTO, etc.

Own safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with NADCAP and AS9100 standards and customer‑specific aerospace requirements. Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across multi‑axis machining centers and an Assembly Department.

Responsible for ensuring production travelers are maintained and up to date, including maintaining data integrity in ERP system (Epicor). Develop, enforce, and implement lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement strategies. Mentor and develop machinists, assemblers, deburrers, department leads, and support staff.

Collaborate with engineering, sales, quality, and supply chain teams to meet customer demands and requirements. Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and cost control. Manage tooling, machine preventative maintenance, and machine utilization to maximize uptime.

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. What You Bring 7+ years of CNC machining experience, with 3+ years in aerospace operations leadership Expertise in CNC machining and Programming Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and CNC programming fundamentals Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Epicor) and production planning tools Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field Certifications: Six Sigma, Lean, PMP, or Certified Manager (CM) preferred Software Proficiency: ERP systems, MS Office, CAD/CAM exposure Why Join Hydro Fitting Competitive salary: $95,000 – $125,000 , based on experience Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development Work on mission‑critical aerospace and defense components Be part of a legacy of precision, quality, and innovation #J-18808-Ljbffr
