Operations Manager - High-Rise Projects Location: Bristol Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + £4k car allowance + bonus The Opportunity We're supporting a growing main contractor who are investing heavily in their high‑rise and façade division, with a strong pipeline of work. They're looking to appoint an Operations Manager to lead delivery on complex, multi‑storey projects and play a key role in building out a brand‑new regional team. This is a critical hire with a clear route into a Regional Operations role as the business expands.

The Role This is a hands‑on leadership role, not just office‑based. You’ll oversee multiple high‑value, complex projects, typically involving: High‑rise / multi‑storey buildings Cladding, façade and fire remediation works Live environments with challenging logistics (scaffolding, mast climbers, access systems) You’ll be responsible for: Leading site teams, Project Managers and supply chain partners Managing programme delivery across multiple sites Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget Driving quality, compliance and client satisfaction Managing stakeholder relationships across clients, consultants and residents Supporting the build‑out and development of a new regional team What We're Looking For Essential: Background with a main contractor Strong experience delivering high‑rise / multi‑storey construction projects Proven ability managing large‑scale, complex schemes (£10m+ preferred) Experience with façade, cladding, or external envelope works Hands‑on leadership style with strong site presence Experience managing multiple projects and teams Excellent stakeholder and client management skills Open to: Established Operations Managers OR strong Senior Project Managers / Contracts Managers ready to step up Desirable: Experience working in live environments (occupied buildings) Retrofit / remediation experience SMSTS / CSCS / relevant site certifications Why This Role?
