Operations Manager - Great future prospects Near Bradford £45000 - 4 day week Specialist Manufacturing Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be partnering with a highly successful specialist manufacturing business near Bradford who are looking to hire an ambitious, driven Operations Manager to lead the company through a modernisation period and continue their upward trajectory. The business manufacturing highly specialist parts for a huge range of applications, with a loyal customer base and an expanding order book. The CEO is looking for an Operations Manager to lead on developing their Lean culture , to identify areas of improvement in their manufacturing processes , drive and uphold quality standards and grow the manufacturing capability further.

Their current processes are highly varied and make use of a range of internal kit and external partners. Key duties: Oversight of all manufacturing & production processes Creating and executing daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedules against customer orders Managing & maintaining the current production kit, putting together business cases for new kit to further expand capability Managing and reporting on key KPIs within management meetings Increasing productivity across the product lines whilst upkeeping quality standards Driving a Lean culture within the manufacturing team, be a champion of 5S principles Recruit, induct and develop new staff members into the manufacturing facility Experience needed: Manufacturing experience is essential - the more complex the product line, the better Excellent examples of implementing and upholding a Lean culture (qualifications will enhance your application) Proven people leadership and development within a complex manufacturing setting An understanding of manufacturing quality standards for regulated markets (Aero, Automotive, Defence etc) will be a benefit Having examples where you have analysed the current manufacturing processes, making suggestions on improvements, driving these and the benefits that this has provided A technical mindset to understand the products and the manufacturing processes required.
