Eos Talent
Job Description
Operations & Supply Chain Coordinator | FMCG
Dublin West / Kildare | €50,000-€60,000 + Bonus & Benefits | Permanent
I'm partnering with an ambitious, fast-growing Irish FMCG business to recruit an experienced Operations & Supply Chain Coordinator to join the team at an exciting stage of its growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where no two days are the same and where you'll have the opportunity to genuinely influence how the business operates as it scales.
They need someone who can come in, take ownership and bring greater structure, organisation and efficiency across supply chain, stock, logistics, procurement and general business operations.
This isn't a traditional administration role. You'll work closely with the founder and wider team and become a key person behind the scenes, making sure suppliers, stock, production, logistics and projects are all moving in the right direction.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing day-to-day supply chain and logistics, including suppliers, deliveries, dispatch and transport
- Taking ownership of stock management, counts, reporting and forward planning
- Coordinating with manufacturing partners to ensure production is aligned with demand
- Managing purchase orders and working closely with finance around costs, budgets and payments
- Keeping on top of supplier lead times and anticipating potential stock or supply issues
- Reviewing suppliers, pricing and processes to identify efficiencies and cost savings
- Maintaining accurate product, ingredient and packaging information
- Coordinating new product development projects and supporting new product launches
- Managing customer queries and resolving operational issues as they arise
- Coordinating events, trade shows and activations
- Improving systems, documentation and processes as the business continues to grow
- Generally being the person who makes sure things get done!
The background we're looking for:
Experience within FMCG or another fast-moving, product-based business is vital for this role.
We'd particularly love to speak with people who have worked within:
- FMCG / food & beverage
- Craft breweries or drinks businesses
- Start-ups or scale-ups
- Food production or manufacturing
- Other fast-moving product-led businesses
You may currently be working in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement or Business Coordination and be ready for a role where you can take considerably more ownership.
Experience within a start-up, scale-up or entrepreneurial business would be a real advantage. You'll understand that not every process will already be perfectly defined - you're someone who enjoys putting structure around things, solving problems and figuring out better ways of working.
You'll need to be someone who:
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Understands stock, logistics and supply chain processes
- Is commercially minded and comfortable working with numbers
- Can juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the detail
- Spots potential problems before they become bigger issues
- Is comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Enjoys creating processes and improving how things work
- Is practical, adaptable and happy to roll up your sleeves
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a genuine get-things-done mentality
Package
Bonus: 10%
Benefits: Healthcare and pension after six months
Hybrid: Approximately 2 days per week office-based
Flexibility: A 4-day working week can also be considered
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a growing business at a stage where you can genuinely make your mark. You'll have autonomy, exposure across the business and the opportunity for your role to develop significantly as the company grows.
