Office Personnel Admin
Performs a variety of clerical duties, including answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing, word processing, office machine operation and filing. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Training other staff members to perform work activities, such as using computer applications.
- Answering telephones, directing calls, taking messages and running errands.
- Preparing meeting agendas, attending meetings and recording/transcribing minutes.
- Making travel arrangements.
- Completing work schedules, managing calendars and arranging appointments.
- Opening and routing incoming mail, answering correspondence and preparing outgoing mail.
- Compiling, copying, sorting and filing records of office activities, business transactions and other activities.
- Completing and mailing bills, contracts, policies, invoices and checks.
- Operating office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers.
- Typing, formatting, proofreading and editing correspondence, reports and other documents.
- Reviewing files, records and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
- Computing, recording and proofreading data and other information.
- Processing and preparing documents, such as business or government forms and expense reports.
- Maintaining and updating filing, inventory, mailing and database systems.
- Communicating with customers, employees and others to answer questions; disseminate or explain information; take orders and address complaints.
- Collecting, counting and disbursing money; performing basic bookkeeping; completing banking transactions.
- Troubleshooting problems involving office equipment.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
