Northern NSW Neurology Clinics PTY LTD The Office Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient administrative systems, supporting staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and organisational policies. This is a key leadership position that requires excellent organisational, communication, and people management skills.
The successful applicant will be responsible for: Contributing to the planning, implementation, and review of office services, including setting priorities and maintaining office service standards. Allocating human resources, office space, and equipment to ensure efficient clinic operations. Assigning work to administrative staff, monitoring work performance, and providing leadership, guidance, and support.
Managing office records, financial accounts, and administrative systems while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Liaising with neurologists, allied health professionals, healthcare providers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate office activities and facilitate the timely resolution of operational issues. Ensuring office equipment, medical administrative resources, and supplies are maintained and available to support daily clinic operations.
Ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and maintaining a safe workplace for staff and patients. Ensuring all office operations comply with relevant government legislation, healthcare regulations, organisational policies, and procedures.
Coordinating personnel activities, including recruitment, onboarding, promotions, performance management, payroll administration, staff training, and supervision. The successful candidate will possess: A relevant qualification in Business Administration, Practice Management, Health Administration, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in office or practice management, preferably within a healthcare or specialist medical environment.
Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Experience managing administrative staff and coordinating office operations.
Knowledge of payroll, records management, and administrative systems. Understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and relevant Australian legislation.
