The school supports students with social communication needs, emotional regulation challenges and sensory processing differences, typically associated with Autism.

As a Nurture Teacher, you'll deliver high‑quality teaching and learning to students with additional needs, including autism and complex learning difficulties.

You'll play a key role in helping pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally using a nurturing, structured and non‑confrontational approach.

There may also be a requirement to work from a nearby satellite site when needed.

• Deliver and develop a creative, inclusive curriculum
• Work collaboratively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
• Plan and deliver short, medium and long‑term learning plans
• Set, monitor and review personalised learning targets
• Track progress and report to parents and key stakeholders
• Contribute to EHCPs, PEPs and LAC reviews
• Create engaging, structured lessons that motivate and challenge
• Manage behaviour positively and in line with school policies
• Stay informed on current best practice in autism education
• Be flexible and ready to support across the school where needed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working in SEND settings, particularly with ASC
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum
• Proven ability to deliver a differentiated curriculum
• Knowledge of ASC and SEMH needs, including complex presentations

• Additional SEND qualifications
• Experience developing curriculum for learners with SEND
• Understanding of co‑occurring conditions associated with autism
