Anexciting opportunity has arisen in both the paediatric cardiac(L51) and the paediatric respiratory teams(L38)forqualified nursing associates. Youwill play a key role in providing high-quality, safe and family-centred care,supporting children through investigations, treatments and day-to-day clinicalneeds. The role includes delivering delegated nursing care, supportingprocedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and working closely withfamilies to ensure a positive experience during challenging times.

Weare looking for someone who is enthusiastic, resilient, and committed todeveloping specialist skills. You will be supported through induction,education and ongoing professional development within our friendly, dedicatedteam. Main duties of the job Toprovide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation andevaluation of individualised programmes of care.

Job responsibilities Thenursing associate has a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across thefields of nursing, providing holistic and person-centred care and support forpeople of all ages and in a variety of settings. The nursing associate worksindependently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within thesphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process. Nursingassociates are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudesand behaviours relevant to employment as a nursing associate and will work tothe NMC code of conduct.

Thefollowing criteria identify the core components of the roles, responsibilitiesand accountabilities of nursing associates. They identify what nursingassociates can contribute to the health and wellbeing of patients and serviceusers, and apply across all health and care settings. Integral to all of theseis the ability to communicate effectively, with sensitivity and compassion, andto manage relationships with people, making reasonable adjustments wherenecessary.
