Job DetailsResponsibilities:As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:1. Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with the appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance.2. Conducting financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.3. Analyzing financial data and create financial models for decision support.4. Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.5. Guiding the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.6. Providing analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.7. Recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.8. Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.9. Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.10. Maintaining a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Analyst position will have the following qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.3. Proficiency in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and understanding of financial concepts.4. Strong proficiency in Excel and other analytics software.5. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.6. Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to present complex financial information in an easy to understand format.7. Ability to work closely with senior management and influence decision making.8. Advanced business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.9. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.10.
