About the role
Operational support to the logistics, warehousing, or inventory management of the department, ensuring functional processes comply with the SOP. The role involves standing in as Supervisor during their absence.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for the productivity performance for assigned function
- Ensure all material receive/pick are properly placed to the correct locations
- Work with team members and be cross trained to perform other tasks within the department
- Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received, knowing when to either refuse or accept with notation
- Segregate cargo received by account or intended location and store in proper location
- Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, putting away stocks
- Operate PC-based receiving systems when applicable and other duties as assigned by Supervisor
About you
- GCE 'O' Levels and above
- At least 3 - 5 years experience in Logistics industry
- At least 1 - 2 years of experience in leading a team as a team lead.
- Knowledge of simple use of electronic devices, scanners, EXCEL
- Relevant experience in SAP operations will be an advantage
