Job Description

This role reports to the Vice President of Network Management and supports the organization through advanced analytics, performance monitoring, and data-driven insights related to provider performance, network adequacy, utilization, and cost trends. The Network Performance & Analytics Analyst evaluates and optimizes provider network performance by developing reporting, conducting data analysis, and creating models that inform network strategy, access monitoring, and operational decision-making. This position also establishes and strengthens the team’s foundational analytics infrastructure, enabling data-driven network management and supporting strategic initiatives across the Network Management organization.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze claims, provider, and member data to evaluate network performance and utilization trends. Monitor key performance indicators including cost per member, utilization patterns, treatment intensity, and productivity. Identify provider outliers, cost variation, and emerging utilization trends.

Conduct analyses such as network leakage, provider benchmarking, and utilization pattern reviews. Develop recurring and ad hoc reporting to support Network Management leadership. Build dashboards to monitor provider performance, network utilization, and cost trends.

Translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for leadership. Network Adequacy & Access Analysis Conduct geographic access and network adequacy analysis. Evaluate provider distribution and identify network gaps.

Support provider recruitment and network strengthening strategies. Data Infrastructure & Analytics Development Support development of foundational datasets and reporting structures for network analytics. Develop queries and analytics to support reporting and performance monitoring.

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across provider, claims, and network datasets. Decision Support & Leadership Engagement Provide analytic insights and reporting to support Network Management leadership in evaluating provider network performance and strategic initiatives. Translate complex data into clear insights that inform provider engagement, network development, and operational decision-making.

Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional partners including network management, operations, product, and Sales. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Required Education Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Health Informatics, Health Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field. Experience 3–5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, provider network analytics, or managed care.

Understanding of provider network performance metrics and utilization patterns. Experience working with claims data, provider directory data, and network adequacy data. SQL querying and data analysis.

Advanced Excel and data modeling. Preferred Experience with Quest Analytics for network adequacy analysis. Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms.

Dashboard development using Sigma or similar analytics tools PHYSICAL DEMANDS Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively. Manual dexterity and sitting is required in carrying out position own position responsibilities (i.e. use of personal computer). Ability to travel or move about within and outside serviced facilities required.

Incumbents work primarily in either a private or shared office environment. The target hiring range for this role is $102,935 - $121,100 (Annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
