Urgent requirement of Network Operations Manager - Contract - Brisbane

Requirements

To design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure with a strong focus on routing & switching, network security (Palo Alto firewalls), VPN solutions (Prisma Global Protect), SD-WAN (Cisco Meraki), and data centre networking (Cisco ACI).

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• 1. Routing & Switching:
  • * Design, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN networks.
  • * Implement dynamic routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
  • * Configure and manage: VLANs, STP/RSTP, HSRP/VRRP, QoS policies
  • * Optimize network performance, resiliency, and redundancy
  • * Conduct capacity planning and network upgrades
• 2. Network Security (Palo Alto Firewalls):
  • * Design and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls
  • * Configure: Security policies, NAT rules, zones, App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, IPS/IDS and threat prevention
  • * Implement advanced features: URL filtering, WildFire, SSL decryption
  • * Perform firewall audits, upgrades, and rule optimization
  • * Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities
• 3. VPN & Remote Access (Prisma Global Protect):
  • * Deploy and maintain Prisma Global Protect VPN
  • * Configure: Remote access VPN, Site-to-site IPsec VPN
  • * Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues
  • * Implement secure access policies and MFA integration
  • * Ensure seamless connectivity for remote workforce
  • * Design and implement Cisco Meraki SD-WAN solutions
  • * Manage: Auto VPN, traffic shaping, WAN failover, Application-aware routing
  • * Monitor SD-WAN performance via Meraki Dashboard
  • * Optimize WAN cost, performance, and availability
  • * Integrate SD-WAN with cloud and data center networks
  • * Deploy and manage Cisco ACI fabric
  • * Configure: Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts and policies
  • * Integrate ACI with legacy networks and L3Out connectivity
  • * Troubleshoot spine-leaf architecture issues
• 6. Monitoring & Operations:
  • * Use of monitoring tools (e.g., Statseeker, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar)
  • * Maintain network documentation and diagrams
  • * Perform root cause analysis for incidents
  • * Ensure adherence to ITIL processes
