Job Description
Job Title: L2 Network Engineer Experience: 3-6 Years + Location: Across all locations (Sitting Location- Pune) Travel Requirement: Monthly travel across locations, on-site visits as needed Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive L2 Network Engineer to manage and support our network infrastructure across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for firewall management, network monitoring, IT support, and vendor coordination, with a strong focus on communication and VIP user support. Key Responsibilities: Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto , Sophos and FortiGate firewalls across all AAPL and GIL locations.
Network Infrastructure: Manage Ubiquiti Access Points, Meraki and Cambium with controller. Administer Cisco Layer 2 switches with VLAN capabilities. Perform daily network monitoring and generate regular reports.
IT Support: Handle L1-level support for desktops, laptops, and applications. Provide on-site IT and network support as required. Manage and resolve IT support tickets efficiently.
Vendor s ISP Coordination: Liaise with IT vendors for hardware/software issues. Follow up with ISPs for internet-related concerns and outages. VIP Support: Offer dedicated support for VIP users, especially on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad).
Ensure high-quality service and communication with senior stakeholders. Reporting s Documentation: Maintain documentation of network configurations, support activities, and vendor interactions. Share daily/weekly reports on network health and support status.
Required Skills s Qualifications: Proven experience with Sophos , FortiGate , Ubiquiti , Meraki, Cambium and Cisco networking equipment. Strong understanding of VLANs , network security , and firewall policies . Basic hands-on experience with IT support (hardware/software).
Excellent communication skills, especially for interacting with VIP users. Ability to travel across multiple locations as per business needs. Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
