JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Network Engineer to support and enhance our global manufacturing network environment. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale network solutions across manufacturing sites, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity that enables critical business operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network switching, strong knowledge of network security, excellent communication skills, and a positive, collaborative approach to working with stakeholders across technical and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Design, implement, and support large-scale enterprise LAN, WLAN, and network infrastructure solutions. \n
- Provide technical leadership for manufacturing network projects, refresh initiatives, and site expansions. \n
- Support day-to-day operational activities and troubleshoot complex network issues across manufacturing environments. \n
- Drive improvements in network performance, reliability, availability, and security. \n
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to understand operational requirements and deliver effective network solutions. \n
- Partner with Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards, vulnerability management, and network segmentation initiatives. \n
- Create and maintain technical documentation, network designs, and implementation plans. \n
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders and project teams. \n
- Contribute to network automation and continuous improvement initiatives. \n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent experience. \n
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise-scale network environments. \n
- Strong hands‑on experience with:\n
- \n
- Cisco Switching and Routing \n
- Cisco Wireless technologies \n
- Enterprise Firewalls (Palo Alto or Check Point) \n
- TCP/IP networking fundamentals \n
- Network Security principles and best practices \n
- Experience supporting manufacturing or operational technology (OT) environments is highly desirable. \n
\n - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Strong customer‑focused mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams. \n
- Positive attitude, collaborative approach, and willingness to support business‑critical manufacturing operations. \n
- \n
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications. \n
- Experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco Catalyst Center, F5, Splunk, ServiceNow, NetBrain, LogicMonitor, Ansible, or Python. \n
- Experience with Network Segmentation, Access Control, and Network AIOps. \n
- Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing. \n

- Acts as a subject matter expert in enterprise networking and switching technologies. \n
- Builds strong relationships with manufacturing and business stakeholders. \n
- Delivers secure, reliable, and scalable network solutions. \n
- Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem solving. \n
- Communicates effectively and collaborates successfully within global teams. \n
