Network Engineer

Job Title Network Engineer – Data Center Operations (Routing & Switching) Location Hyderabad Experience 5–10 years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Network Engineer with strong expertise in Routing, Switching, and Network Services to support and architect enterprise-grade data center environments. The ideal candidate will work on network operations, enhancements, automation initiatives, and advanced troubleshooting across mission-critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Manage, operate, and support Data Center network infrastructure with high availability and performance Design, implement, and troubleshoot Routing & Switching solutions using: BGP, OSPF VLANs, STP, Port-Channels Configure and maintain Network Security & Services , including: ACLs, NAT DHCP, DNS, UC-VOIP Perform network architecture reviews , capacity planning, and optimization for data center environments Work with F5 BIG-IP for load balancing and traffic management activities Support SD-WAN and hybrid network environments Utilize InfoBlox for IP address management (IPAM), DNS, and DHCP services Drive network automation and standardization initiatives where applicable Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies Handle L2/L3 escalations, root cause analysis (RCA), and documentation Ensure compliance with enterprise networking standards and best practices Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in Networking – Routing & Switching Expertise in: BGP, OSPF VLANs, STP, EtherChannel/Port-Channels ACLs and NAT Solid understanding of Data Center Network Operations and Architecture Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, and UC-VOIP technologies Experience with InfoBlox (IPAM, DNS, DHCP) Strong working knowledge of F5 BIG-IP Exposure to SD-WAN technologies Experience or interest in network automation (Ansible, Python, or similar is a plus) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum working models Nice to Have Datacenter migration or transformation experience Cloud networking exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP hybrid connectivity) Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent Soft Skills Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Clear communication and stakeholder management Ability to work independently in high-pressure production environments
