Network Engineer

Network Engineer | £45,000 - £55,000 + bonus | MSP Holding an ACTIVE Palo Alto certification is essential for this position. We are currently working with a fast-growing, technology-led MSP. As part of their continued expansion, they’re looking for a Palo Alto-focused Network Engineer to join their driven Engineering team.

You’ll provide Level 2 & Level 3 support across customer environments, focusing heavily on Palo Alto technologies. This includes troubleshooting complex issues, implementing changes, and ensuring optimal performance of network security infrastructure. What you'll be doing: Lead technical onboarding for new clients (configurations, VPNs, monitoring, documentation) Manage and support Palo Alto security platforms across multiple environments Proactively identify and resolve network/security issues end-to-end Perform upgrades, patching, and ongoing optimisation Work within SLA-driven managed service environments Act as an escalation point for complex incidents Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing Support continual service improvement initiatives What you'll need: Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks (NGFW & security platform) Proven background in network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls) Excellent troubleshooting skills across network/security environments Experience with monitoring tools (e.g.

SNMP, Zabbix or similar) Familiarity with ITIL-based support environments & SLAs Strong communication skills (technical + customer-facing) Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals Certifications: Current PCNSE (or equivalent Palo Alto certification) – essential Additional Palo Alto certifications – highly desirable Desirable: Experience with Prisma Access / SASE solutions Exposure to SD-WAN, ideally within Palo Alto environments Knowledge of modern, cloud-delivered security architectures Please apply now for immediate consideration!
