Network Automation & AI Engineer

Location: Canada Remote (Nearshore) Type: Contract Senior Network Automation & AI Enginee r Position Summa ry We are seeking a highly skill ed Senior Network Automation & AI Engin eer to drive automation, AI adoption, and operational efficiency across our global infrastructure environment. This role is focused on building scalable automation solutions, AI-powered workflows, and self-healing capabilities that improve reliability, speed, and operational excellen ce. Key Responsibili ties Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Python, APIs, Infrastructure-as-Code, and modern automation framew orks.Build and implement AI-powered workflows leveraging GenAI, Agentic AI frameworks, RAG architectures, and enterprise AI platf orms.Automate provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, compliance validation, and remediation across network, cloud, and security environm ents.Partner closely with Network, Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure teams to identify and deliver automation opportuni ties.Develop integrations across enterprise platforms and operational t ools.Technical Qualifica tions Re quired 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Auto expert ise in :PythonRE ST APIsTe rraform AnsibleGit /GitHubCI/CD Pi pelinesExperience building automation solutions from concept through production depl oyment.Familiarity with GenAI technologies, Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, MCP, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar pla tforms.Pr eferred Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies in cluding:SD-WAN (VeloCloud pr eferred)Palo Alto F irewallsF5 Load B alancersAruba/Cisco Switching & RoutingMulti-cloud environments (Azure, G CP, OCI)Experience supporting large-scale retail or distributed enterprise envir onments.What We're Loo king For Automation-first mindset with a passion for eliminating man ual work.Strong ownership, accountability, and follow -through.Excellent communication and collaboratio n skills.Proactive problem solver who drives initiatives with minimal sup ervision.Ability to influence teams and lead automation efforts across multiple technology domains.Networking knowledge is a plus.
