.Net Developer

We are looking for a .NET Developer for a 12 Month contract based in Derby (3 days onsite) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

Key Accountabilities

• You will be responsible for the development of applications throughout the full software life cycle.
• You will contribute to software engineering practices and embed them within the team.
• You will have the duty of creating, maintaining and implementing the source code and related artefacts that make up our applications.
• You will be responsible for coordinating the transition of solutions into full service from a technical perspective.
• You will contribute to the development and implementation of applications that demonstrate the impact of decision science and visualisations that can be employed to develop next generation Rolls-Royce digital solutions.
• Champion continuous improvement and technical excellence within the delivery teams.

What we require from the candidate:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong .NET development experience (most important skill).
• Experience with Databricks and Data Engineering.
• Candidates should have proven experience working on cloud migration projects.
