Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic National Construction Manager (NCM) to oversee and provide expertise and guidance on all Reconstruction Experts projects. This role will align with our core pillars: Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Cost, and Schedule.
The NCM will provide support to our Operations and Regional Project Managers to ensure proper staffing, execution and compliance with all SOPโs and safety protocols. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing national operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence Coach and mentor team members through structured training, performance management, and career development initiatives Build and sustain a disciplined, results-driven environment with a strong emphasis on ownership and continuous improvement Partner with executive leadership to define and execute strategic business objectives Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-energy culture that attracts and retains top talent Job Scheduling & Coordination Drive accountability across operational leadership for accurate and timely project scheduling. Ensure any delays are proactively reported and documented Utilize tools such as Procore and EasyBuild to maintain transparency, accountability, and performance tracking Safety Protocols & Field Assessments Ensure that all operations leaders are completing regulatory safety meetings, prompt documentation and consistently adhere to all OSHA required safety protocols on job sites Drive consistency in routine site visits across all operations leaders Verify that all standards are being met regarding cleanliness, safety, security and overall job site organization Subcontractor Responsibilities and Performance Oversite Serve as the 2nd to last point of contact in oversight of subcontractor responsibilities, performance and compliance Act as a liaison to resolve conflicts and maintain project continuity Preconstruction Strategy & Execution Serve as a sounding board and provide key advice on high risk and high value preconstruction projects nationally Act as a liaison to sales teams, providing strategic guidance and expertise Partner with Preconstruction Managers to provide support across all phases of projects Health, Safety & Compliance Lead and support national safety initiatives in alignment with OSHA standards and company policies Oversee safety planning during preconstruction, including logistics and risk identification Ensure all teams maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Participate in safety committees and lead continuous improvement in safety performance Key Selection Criteria: 20+ years relevant construction experience in leading high performing teams 10+ years experience in either multifamily construction, government construction, reconstruction work and/or custom residential/commercial work.
Maintain an active General Contracting License in either (CA, CO, AZ, FL, or TN) Proven experience of managing logistics for multiple locations simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to travel as needed.
