Part-Time | Afternoon & Saturday Hours | Townsville

King Konz School of Music is one of North Queensland's leading contemporary music schools, providing exceptional music education to more than 250 students each week. We're looking for passionate and engaging Music Teachers in drums, piano, guitar and/or vocals to join our growing team.

At King Konz, teaching is about more than learning an instrument. You'll help students develop their musical skills while building confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of music. You'll work with students of different ages and abilities and become part of a team that creates memorable experiences through lessons, concerts, performances and events.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is an accomplished musician.
• Has previous music teaching experience.
• Loves helping students learn, grow and build confidence.
• Delivers engaging and enjoyable lessons.
• Builds positive relationships with students and families.
• Is professional, organised and reliable.
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.
• Is enthusiastic about concerts, performances and school events.
• Holds, or is willing to obtain, a current Queensland Blue Card.
• A tertiary music qualification, live performance experience and experience teaching different age groups will be highly regarded.
