Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Description Impact Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a permanent position in Leicester. Location Leicester, Leicestershire, GB Salary £45,000 - £50,000 per annum Role Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Hours Flexible working hours Monday - Friday between 6:00am - 10:00pm (Minimum 40 hours per week) Duties Carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance across the site Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems Complete maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentation Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when required Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety procedures Manage maintenance activities independently within a standalone role Requirements Time-served Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer 18th Edition qualified Completed an apprenticeship within General Engineering or Machining Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering diagrams Able to work independently and manage workload effectively Experience within plastics or injection moulding would be advantageous Experience working with hydraulic systems would be advantageous Benefits Flexible working hours offering excellent work-life balance Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 Standalone role with full autonomy and responsibility Company pension scheme Cycle to work scheme Free on-site parkingSupportive and stable working environment Long-term opportunity within a well-established business #J-18808-Ljbffr
