What You'll Be Doing As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll help keep their modern bakery operating safely and efficiently by maintaining and improving a wide range of production equipment.

Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across our production facility. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on bakery equipment including mixers, conveyors, provers, motors, control panels and associated systems. Identifying opportunities to improve machine reliability, efficiency and overall plant performance.

Conducting root cause analysis to eliminate recurring equipment failures. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects. Installing machine upgrades and carrying out equipment modifications.

Working closely with production teams to plan maintenance activities and minimise downtime. Recording maintenance activities through our maintenance management system (CMMS). Helping manage engineering spare parts and ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

Maintaining excellent health & safety and food safety standards at all times. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, takes pride in solving problems, and wants to make a genuine contribution to a successful manufacturing business. You'll ideally have: A recognised qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering (Advanced Craft Certificate or equivalent).

At least two years' experience in a maintenance engineering role within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar production environment. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Experience reading electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams.

Knowledge of preventative maintenance and continuous improvement techniques. A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills. An understanding of OEE, HACCP and safe systems of work.
