Mobile Engineer II

Role Summary An established performer who consistently applies software engineering principles to business contexts, leads small, well‑defined projects, and continues to support complex projects while actively identifying inefficiencies in existing software. Experience & Education 2+ years of relevant experience for Bachelor's degree holders; 0‑2 years for Master's degree holders. Developed software in an agile team environment.

Built, published, and monitored apps on the App Store or Play Store. Technical Skills Strong understanding of Swift, Kotlin, Objective‑C, or Java. Good grasp of iOS/Android app design patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP) and ability to explain their pros and cons.

Experience integrating or contributing to open‑source code (nice to have). Comfortable translating design wireframes to proof‑of‑concept code. Comfortable navigating API contracts such as REST or GraphQL.

Understand how projects fit together within their team. Understand testing and monitoring tools, and how to debug and fix issues using them. Good understanding of how to write unit tests and unit‑testable code.

Understand how team goals align with business needs. Comfortable learning new skills or expertise in specific application areas. Understand the importance of system and technology integration and related tools.

Develop and test standard software applications and related programs to meet design requirements. Apply software design principles, data structures, design patterns, and computer science fundamentals to write clean, maintainable, optimized, modular code with good naming conventions. Apply API/Schema design principles to solve data requirements for mobile experiences.

Coordinate stakeholder input and collaboration efforts when developing solutions to issues. Think broadly to understand when policies/processes are standardized and when they differ across the organization. Complete tasks or provide data to support the implementation of holistic solutions that link structure, people, process, and technology.

Proactively apply formal training methods to current workload. Salary & Benefits The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $119,000 to $166,500. Employees have the potential to increase their pay up to $190,500 based on sustained performance.
