Mission Operations Specialist Location: Eastern NM Employment Type: Full Time Posted By: LHH Recruitment Solutions on behalf of our client About the Opportunity LHH is proud to partner with an innovative, highgrowth aerospace technology organization developing the next generation of stratospheric platforms for instant communications, imaging, and remote sensing. These lighterthanair High Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS) operate between 18 and 21 km and support telecommunications, disaster response, environmental monitoring, Earth observation, and national security missions. As the Mission Operations division expands, we are seeking a Mission Operations Specialist to join the team and support flight operations, safety, training, mission planning, payload integration, and operational continuity.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys handson technical work, thrives in fastpaced environments, and wants to contribute directly to nextgeneration aerospace operations. About the Role The Mission Operations Specialist will support all phases of mission planning and execution, including preflight preparation, console operations during missions, data analysis, safety oversight, training support, and documentation management. You will collaborate closely with engineering, software, mission operations, and assembly teams to help design, test, and operate highaltitude mission systems.
This role requires strong attention to detail, curiosity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple technical disciplines.
