We’re looking for a strong Mid/Senior Symfony Developer with fluent English to join a long-term project for an international technology partner.
You’ll work on one of the longest-running systems in the client’s portfolio – a mature Symfony application that continues to be actively developed and modernized. An important part of the role will be working with older Symfony versions and gradually bringing the technology stack up to date.
You’ll collaborate directly with an 8-person development team and become part of their everyday workflow, contributing not only through development but also through active participation in planning, daily meetings, and technical discussions.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong Mid/Senior-level commercial experience with PHP and Symfony
- Hands-on experience with older Symfony versions
- Experience upgrading or migrating Symfony applications to newer versions
- Confidence working with mature and legacy codebases
- Ability to understand existing solutions and improve them pragmatically
- Fluent English (C1/C2) and excellent communication skills – this is essential for daily collaboration with the client’s team
- Proactive approach and willingness to be a fully engaged member of the development team.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience with GitLab and CI/CD
- Familiarity with microservice-based environments
- Exposure to Go or systems integrating with Go-based services.
