Middleware Engineer

Location: Onsite Hybrid, Office location is Pennington NJ or Charlotte NC Required Pay Scale: $65-70hr W2 ***Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates*** Responsibilities Candidate must have 7+ years of Java/J2EE and IIS Providing middleware administration duties for online banking and eCommerce platforms, end-to-end, including WebLogic, WebSphere, Jboss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and WXS (extreme scale cache). Candidate should be able to troubleshoot application integration issues in Linux/Windows & cross platform environment. Candidate should have expertise in analyzing IIS logs Must be able to troubleshoot Web Servers Knowledge of Middleware products Ability to troubleshoot application integration Provisioning certificates for applications- Venafi product IIS design and support PowerShell scripting Delivering middleware enterprise projects and regulatory legislative initiatives.

Ensuring production stability from an ongoing support standpoint. Ensuring middleware platforms are patched with the most current version of software, helping to manage risk to the customer. Providing Middleware Application Server administration that includes server installation, configuration, performance tuning and production support.

Working with customers (application teams and/or testing teams) daily and providing Middleware and Java support. Serving as a J2EE architect and making recommendations on J2EE best practices in application development. Designing Middleware infrastructure and Middleware topology design for high availability and failover capability.

Providing technical consultation to other team members and their supported areas. Required Skills WebSphere, JBoss, IBM http Server, Tomcat, Apache Middleware administration. Java/J2EE Strong analytical, multitasking and prioritization skills.
