We are looking for an experienced and passionate Middle School Geography Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to make Geography engaging, interactive, and relevant for young learners.

Qualifications & Experience

Board: ICSE

Qualification: B.Ed / M.Ed with M.A. in Geography

Experience: 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an ICSE school.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons aligned with the ICSE curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, projects, activities, and teaching resources.
• Use maps, diagrams, case studies, presentations, and digital tools to make lessons interactive.
• Develop students' geographical knowledge, observation, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Assess student learning through classwork, assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide appropriate support.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage students to understand geographical, environmental, and social issues.
• Maintain accurate academic records and complete assigned documentation.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress when required.
• Participate in school events, workshops, field activities, and other co-curricular activities.

Skills Required

• Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
• Good understanding of the ICSE curriculum.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to use creative and activity-based teaching methods.
• Proficiency in digital teaching tools is an added advantage.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring middle school students.
