MI Analyst

Summary Of The Role Automate, build and own key strategic operational reports Examine and evaluate the purpose and content of business reports to develop new or improve existing reports using a variety of reporting formats and tools Identify and understand data sources to improve accuracy and efficiency across multiple reporting streams Respond to data requests in a timely and appropriate manner Support team members in automation and efficiency of reports and help determine essential reporting requirements to keep up with stakeholder demand Key Responsibilities Undertake stakeholder liaison and requirements gathering Seek opportunities to find efficiencies and savings in monthly reporting Seek innovative ways to deliver MI to stakeholders, including self‑service solutions Own and automate the existing reporting suite (using SAS and VBA) to deliver on time and accurate scheduled reports Identify data integrity issues where they exist Ensure data integrity by creating exception reports and implementing controls in reporting processes Present data in an easily accessible manner to stakeholders Ensure all process documentation is accurate and up to date Assist in the delivery of change work streams that require strong working relationships and stakeholder management Support the team leader with improvements and efficiencies Handle any other reasonable request required to meet organisational goals, strategies and targets Skills & Experience Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel at an advanced level Experience with SAS, Visual Basic, VBA and SQL Report writing/understanding via SAS, Crystal, Business Objects Strong communication skills and keen eye for detail Proactive can‑do attitude, keen to seek improvement What We Offer Competitive pension scheme 25 days holiday + Celebration Day Holiday buy/sell scheme Annual salary review and bonus scheme 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday, no weekends Retail discounts including GymFlex options Free parking and EV charging Complimentary breakfast Flexible working options Cycle to Work scheme Bike storage and showers Employee referral scheme (£1,000) EEO Statement Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for an opportunity unless they exactly meet the criteria specified.
