Overview Seeking an Analyst / Associate to bring their energy, passion, and expertise to a Corp Dev team. The Analyst / Associate will be responsible for performing financial due diligence to assess a target’s QofE, analyze cash flows, review working capital, identifying key business drivers, review forecasts, and conduct comprehensive discussions with management. The Analyst / Associate will also have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated and effective team of professionals and will gain exposure to the Company’s approach to financial due diligence that goes beyond traditional quality of earning analyses. 100% in office / 100% on site local candidates only Responsibilities Analyze detailed financial statement information including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and key operational data.

Synthesize and convert the data into meaningful information that is used to drive discussions with management and drive observations and conclusions. Assist with core financial due diligence, helping to identify key risks and potential deal breakers, assess the strengths and weaknesses of the target’s business against industry benchmarks, and aid in the evaluation of the potential transaction /acquisition. Assess the quality of the target company’s reported earnings, net assets and cash flows.

Assist in the construction of deal-oriented reports and presentations that highlight the key financial findings facing the potential acquisition and the drivers behind maintainable profits and cash flows. Aid the Corp Dev team in further articulating how such findings should be incorporated into the valuation and sale, purchase agreement and provide other negotiating points Participate in meetings and conference calls with target company management team and with corporate personnel and serve as a secondary point of contact with respect to day-to-day execution matters. Digging into a target company’s financial statements, industry reports, and competitor data to find the "story" behind the numbers.

Build detailed Excel models to analyze value of potential acquisition using various methodologies, including DCF, Comps, and Precedent Transactions Analysis. Assist with designing PowerPoint presentations (pitchbooks) that outline market trends, strategic advice, and valuation summaries for management review and analysis Be actively involved in building and maintaining relationships and other business development opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, Master’s degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, assurance services, financial consulting, or financial services Proficient with: Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

Additional professional designations, certifications or licenses are a plus (CPA, CVA, ASA, CFA) Experience consulting and advising clients on operational, financial, and strategic issues.
