Membership Recruitment Specialist

In this role, you will focus on building strong community connections, increasing awareness, and driving membership growth through outreach, presentations, and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to achieve girl and adult membership goals Conduct outreach through in-person meetings, presentations, and community events Build and maintain relationships with schools, educators, community organizations, and local businesses Research market trends and identify opportunities for membership growth in targeted areas Create action plans, set outreach targets, and track progress toward goals Utilize CRM systems to manage leads and support the recruitment pipeline Follow up on inquiries and referrals in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with internal teams to enhance recruitment approaches and initiatives Support council-wide programs, events, and public engagement efforts Promote an inclusive environment aligned with Girl Scouts' values of diversity and pluralism Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience Experience in sales, recruiting, outreach, or a related field Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse communities and stakeholders Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout San Diego County Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish Familiarity with local community resources and networks Why Join Us: Contribute to a mission-driven organization making a meaningful impact Engage with a wide range of communities and partners Gain valuable experience in outreach, recruitment, and relationship management Be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 DOE Girl Scouts San Diego is an Equal Opportunity Employer Apply today and be a part of something spectacular!
