Overview

In this role you will shape the medical strategy for a novel rare-disease therapy launch in Spain, working closely with cross-functional teams to support evidence generation and medical insights. You will serve as the scientific expert for external and internal stakeholders, building credibility with KOLs and healthcare professionals. Youโ€™ll drive scientific exchange, medical materials quality, and compliance to enable a successful market introduction.

This is a pivotal opportunity to impact patient outcomes by translating science into actionable medical strategy within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsabilidades
  • Develop and execute the local medical strategy to support the launch of a new therapy in the rare diseases portfolio
  • Act as scientific expert for internal and external stakeholders across pre-launch and launch
  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, scientific societies, patient groups
  • Gather and communicate medical insights to inform strategic decisions and identify unmet needs
  • Lead scientific exchange activities: advisory boards, expert meetings, educational initiatives, medical events
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Clinical Development, and Global Medical teams to ensure launch alignment
  • Support evidence generation: real-world evidence projects and investigator-sponsored studies
  • Develop and review scientific materials ensuring medical accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure medical activities comply with policies and regulations
Requisitos principales
  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related scientific field
  • MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred
  • Experience in Medical Affairs within pharma/biotech
  • Experience in rare diseases, specialty care, orphan drugs, or launches is desirable
  • Strong scientific acumen and credibility with external experts
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
