Overview
In this role you will shape the medical strategy for a novel rare-disease therapy launch in Spain, working closely with cross-functional teams to support evidence generation and medical insights. You will serve as the scientific expert for external and internal stakeholders, building credibility with KOLs and healthcare professionals. Youโll drive scientific exchange, medical materials quality, and compliance to enable a successful market introduction.

Responsabilidades- Develop and execute the local medical strategy to support the launch of a new therapy in the rare diseases portfolio
- Act as scientific expert for internal and external stakeholders across pre-launch and launch
- Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, scientific societies, patient groups
- Gather and communicate medical insights to inform strategic decisions and identify unmet needs
- Lead scientific exchange activities: advisory boards, expert meetings, educational initiatives, medical events
- Collaborate with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Clinical Development, and Global Medical teams to ensure launch alignment
- Support evidence generation: real-world evidence projects and investigator-sponsored studies
- Develop and review scientific materials ensuring medical accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Ensure medical activities comply with policies and regulations
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related scientific field
- MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred
- Experience in Medical Affairs within pharma/biotech
- Experience in rare diseases, specialty care, orphan drugs, or launches is desirable
- Strong scientific acumen and credibility with external experts
- Strategic mindset with strong execution and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
