What you can expect
The Mechatronics Technician will be responsible for the electronic assembly of products, repairs and tests of equipment used for various kind of products & services and provide the associated documentation, components and spare parts. All assigned work must be performed in compliance with ROSEN Group quality and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparing and assembling mechanical and electronic equipment according to drawings, parts lists, manuals, and configurations.
- Perform visual inspections of mechanical and electronic modules.
- Setting tool parameters
- Repairing/reworking equipment/assemblies according to given instructions
- Checking all equipment for completeness and correct function, in order to ensure that the
- equipment fulfill the job requirements as specified
- Documenting assembled equipment in ROSEN software databases, and reporting
- documentation problems
- Providing the required test reports and other documentation
- Supporting site personnel
- Carrying out all activities in accordance with the ROSEN Quality & HSE guidelines and instructions
- Constructing electromechanical assemblies from assembly documents
- Identifying process optimization possibilities
What you will bring
- Technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in electronic maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, or field operations within industrial environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause investigations and support failure analysis activities.
- Experience supporting field personnel and providing technical expertise in electronic-related matters.
- Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in mechanical and electronic systems.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, test reports, and inspection records.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and operational excellence.
- Proactive and self-motivated professional, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and eagerness to learn.
- Availability to travel and work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
- Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- Previous experience in the In-Line Inspection (ILI) industry is highly desirable.
- Experience within the Oil & Gas, pipeline integrity, or related industrial sectors is preferred.
- B2 Level of English
