Job Description

About Fusie Engineers Fusie Engineers is a fast-growing engineering services company specializing in offshore, maritime, energy, and heavy civil sectors. We deliver end-to-end solutions across offshore structural design, heavy lift engineering, ship design, vessel retrofits, marine engineering, steel detailing, and more. Driven by innovation and technical excellence, we partner with clients globally to tackle complex engineering missions with precision and integrity.

Our vision is to engineer a sustainable future, combining cutting-edge design methods with strong in-house multidisciplinary capabilities. At Fusie, every engineer works at the intersection of disciplines—mechanical, electrical, controls, and software—solving real-world engineering problems. We foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and high engineering standards.

About the Role Fusie Engineers is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer with strong fundamentals across mechanical systems, electronics, and control systems. The role involves designing and integrating intelligent systems that combine mechanical structures with sensors, actuators, embedded systems, and control logic. You will work on advanced engineering applications such as automated lifting systems, marine equipment, smart mechanical assemblies, UAV subsystems, and custom-built industrial solutions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable bridging the gap between design and real-world implementation. Key Responsibilities Design and develop integrated mechatronic systems combining mechanical structures, sensors, actuators, and control systems. Work on system-level architecture—defining interfaces between mechanical, electrical, and software components.

Select and integrate components such as motors, drives, encoders, PLCs, microcontrollers, and hydraulic/electromechanical actuators. Develop and implement control logic for automation systems (PLC-based or embedded systems). Collaborate with mechanical design teams to ensure seamless integration of moving systems with control and actuation.

Perform system validation, testing, and troubleshooting for integrated assemblies. Develop wiring diagrams, control schematics, and system documentation. Support prototyping, testing, and commissioning of engineered systems.

Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of mechatronic system integration (mechanical + electrical + controls). Familiarity with motors, drives, sensors, and feedback systems (encoders, limit switches, load cells, etc.). Experience with PLC programming or embedded systems (Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi, etc.).

Ability to read and develop electrical schematics and control diagrams. Understanding of control systems fundamentals (PID control, feedback loops). Basic proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar).

Hands-on mindset with ability to translate designs into working prototypes. Qualifications B.Tech / Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics. 2–5 years of experience in mechatronics, automation, or system integration roles. Experience in industrial automation, marine systems, robotics, or UAV systems is an advantage.

Exposure to standards such as ISO, DNV, or industrial electrical standards is a plus. What We Offer A fast-paced engineering environment with real ownership of systems and outcomes. Opportunity to work across domains—marine, heavy engineering, automation, and UAVs.

Hands-on projects involving real machines, not just simulations or isolated design work.
