Job Description

Build electronics that genuinely improve people’s lives in Leeds. This Mechatronics Engineer role sits within a small, senior engineering team developing upper-limb robotic prosthetics used globally. You’ll own electronics design end-to-end, influence how products reach manufacture, and work hands-on with complex electro-mechanical systems.

As a Mechatronics Engineer, you'll be responsible for owning electronics design within highly integrated electromechanical products, taking concepts through to technical file transfer. Own electronics design data, revision control and change processes Collaborate on electromechanical design with mechanical and software engineers Drive electronics design for manufacture, assembly, test and production transfer Support risk management activities within regulated electro-mechanical systems Proven experience as a Mechatronics Engineer delivering products into manufacture Professional schematic capture and PCB design for shipped electro-mechanical systems Hands-on debugging, fault-finding and modification of electronic assemblies Strong collaboration skills with Mechatronics Engineer, mechanical and software peers Hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week on-site in Leeds ~ Pension contribution and standard benefits package ~ You’ll be joining a close-knit engineering group that values clear thinking, practical decision-making and shared ownership.
