Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to work for a leading Engineering Contractor on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in Frankfurt, Germany. Benefits: €85,000 €95,000 DOE Very generous living away allowance (€1,400 net per month) Single Occupancy Accommodation and utility bills Pension Excellent career progression opportunities Company-supported CPD contributions Regular return flights (10/4) In-country travel provided Responsibilities: Manage the commercial aspects of mechanical packages across a large-scale Data Centre project.
Prepare and review valuations, variations, claims and final accounts. Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance. Manage subcontractor accounts and payments.
Review drawings, specifications and contracts to identify commercial opportunities and risks. Work closely with the project, engineering and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare regular commercial reports and provide updates to the Commercial Manager.
Requirements Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 3+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with strong mechanical experience. Previous experience working on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, or other mission-critical projects. Strong understanding of mechanical services and construction costs.
Experience managing subcontractors, valuations, variations and final accounts. Strong commercial, organisational and communication skills. Eligible to work in the EU.
