Mechanical Project Engineer

We are partnering with a leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor to recruit a Mechanical Project Engineer for their major schemes division in Central London. The Location: Central London The Role: Working alongside a Senior Project Manager, you will be the technical heartbeat of the project. You’ll manage technical submittals, coordinate RFIs, oversee spatial/BIM coordination, and manage specialist sub-contractors on-site to ensure quality and compliance. What’s in it for you?

What we are looking for: Proven Track Record: Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or Coordinator for an M&E contractor, ideally exposed to packages upwards of £5M–£10M. Technical Sharpness: Strong technical understanding of HVAC, public health, and energy systems.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills—you’ll be coordinating between design teams, main contractors, and site supervisors. Qualifications: Relevant qualification (Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services).
