A Mechanical Engineer – Designs, develops, and improves mechanical systems and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance, efficiency, and reliability.
In a manufacturing environment, they collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to solve technical issues, optimize equipment, and ensure products meet engineering and safety standards. Create and refine mechanical components and processes using CAD software. Develop prototypes and oversee testing to validate design functionality and performance.
Ensure components meet customer specifications. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to support project objectives. Communicate technical findings and project updates to stakeholders.
Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution. Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including technical drawings, processes, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with Client's AS9100 Quality Management System Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Experience with CNC machining is a plus. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).
Knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems. Strong communication and project management skills.
