Mechanical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design chassis for system and customized products, and develop cooling solutions for both board and system levels. You will create CAD-based heat sinks, cooling plates, and parts drawings, while supporting production, purchasing, and hardware teams during new product introductions. You will manage BOMs and collaborate across functions to optimize space, quality, and performance.

This is an opportunity to influence thermal management and mechanical design at a hands-on, cross-functional level.

• Design chassis for system level and customized products
• Design heat sinks and cooling plates for board level products using CAD
• Create part and assembly drawings for mechanical components
• Support production and purchasing during new product introductions
• Develop cooling solutions for products
• Assist hardware teams with placement and build space constraints
• Setup and manage BOMs

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related technical field
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies with CAD (Solid Edge, SolidWorks, CATIA or similar)
• Ability to interpret technical requirements into practical designs
• Strong organizational and self-management capabilities
• Results-oriented with ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Professional communication in German and English
