Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities Maintain and develop strong relationships with key clients Support business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and assisting with project tenders Oversee project delivery from feasibility through to construction stage Ensure projects are delivered profitably and in line with the client brief Manage multiple projects across a variety of sectors Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders including clients, architects, contractors, and consultants Oversee and contribute to technical design throughout the project lifecycle Attend client meetings and project progress meetings Carry out site inspections and report findings back to the design team Requirements Minimum 4+ years’ experience within a Building Services Consultancy environment Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Working towards Chartership (CIBSE or IMechE preferred) Strong understanding of mechanical systems, with a good awareness of electrical, sustainability, and public health services Up-to-date knowledge of British Standards, regulations, and codes of practice Experience managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental policies
