Mechanical Design Engineer (Permanent) Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a leading engineering organisation within the marine sector, is seeking a motivated and capable Mechanical Design Engineer.

The successful candidate will bring strong design experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across a range of engineering applications and industries. Mechanical Design Engineer (Permanent) Permanent position Monday to Friday on-site Must hold a British passport Mechanical Design Engineer (Permanent) Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) • Produce detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings • Work on a variety of engineering projects across the marine sector and related industries • Liaise with external suppliers including metallurgists and R&D teams • Ensure designs meet performance, quality, and manufacturability requirements • Support design reviews, modifications, and continuous improvement activities • Maintain accurate engineering documentation in line with company standards Mechanical Design Engineer (Permanent) Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer • Strong 3D CAD modelling experience (SolidWorks preferred, others considered) • Strong understanding of maths, physics, and engineering principles •
