Mechanical Design Engineer Building Services

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical/Senior Design Engineer to join our clients growing Building Services team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the education, healthcare, industrial, leisure and data centre sectors. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical building services designs from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities Design and specification of mechanical building services system Produce detailed calculations, reports, specifications and technical drawing Develop designs using industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit and mechanical design calculation package Attend client meetings, site visits and design team workshop Coordinate designs with electrical, structural and architectural discipline Support project delivery to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards Assist with technical reviews, value engineering and sustainability initiatives Ensure designs comply with current UK regulations, standards and best practice Qualifications/Experience Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline Experience in mechanical building services design consultancy Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standard Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and mechanical calculation package Excellent communication and problem-solving skill Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative tea Benefits 25 days holiday + publics Hybrid work Enhanced pension Yearly salary reviews Bonus scheme Company away days
