Maths Trainer ( US or international curriculum)

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to students from elementary/middle school through Grade 10.
• Follow and adapt lessons according to the US or relevant international curriculum.
• Conduct engaging and interactive one-on-one or small-group online classes.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly using practical examples, visual aids, and problem-solving techniques.
• Identify students' learning gaps and develop personalized learning plans.
• Support students with homework, assignments, worksheets, and exam preparation.
• Prepare lesson plans, practice questions, assessments, and other learning materials.
• Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Help students develop problem-solving, logical reasoning, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Adapt teaching strategies according to different learning styles, abilities, and academic levels.
• Maintain regular communication regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
• Use online teaching tools such as digital whiteboards, Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.
• Maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment.
• Where applicable, prepare students for standardized or competitive mathematics examinations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Science, or a related field preferred.
• Strong command of Mathematics up to Grade 10 level.
• 2+ years of teaching/tutoring experience preferred.
• Experience teaching students following the US curriculum or international curricula.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
