Help students build the mathematical foundations that shape success across every stage of learning. This full-time classroom role places you at the centre of developing numeracy skills, problem-solving ability, and academic confidence during key years of secondary education.
Role Overview
This full-time fixed-term position runs through to the end of the year. You will deliver junior Mathematics programs aligned with the NSW curriculum, using clear instruction, assessment and feedback to strengthen student understanding and achievement. Your work will directly influence measurable learning growth while contributing to a structured teaching and learning framework.
What you'll do
- Deliver junior Mathematics programs aligned to the NSW curriculum
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching to improve outcomes
- Provide clear and actionable feedback that supports learning growth
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and learning expectations
- Contribute to faculty planning, assessment and reporting processes
- Support students to build confidence in applying mathematical concepts

Location - Cessnock, NSW 2325
Cessnock is in the Hunter Valley with direct road access to Maitland and Kurri Kurri, and approximately 50 minutes from Newcastle. The region provides access to retail centres, healthcare services, schools and transport links connecting communities across the Hunter.
