Maths Teacher - Cannock - September 2026 Start
Academics are a local teacher recruitment agency and we are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Cannock to recruit a Maths Teacher on a temporary basis.
Role Details:
- Start date: September 2026
- Duration: Until October 2026 (approx 7 weeks)
- Location: Cannock
- Key Stages: KS3 and small amount of KS4
- Daily rate: 160 - 230 (depending on experience)
The school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive with a good reputation in the Cannock area. Applications are welcome from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths
- Experience as a Maths Teacher across KS3 and KS4 and a range of abilities
- Excellent classroom management and teaching practice
- Ability to engage and inspire students
- Professional, reliable, and committed to safeguarding
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
